Picking The Right Golf Ball

The eagle seems to have awoken the sleeping Tiger. He's followed it by holing mid-range birdie putts on both Holes 8 and 9, dropping himself down to -9, three behind Westwood and Mickelson, two behind Choi, and one behind Couples. Solid play!

The Masters

I remain depressed regarding the Colts choking away of the Super Bowl. But I've decided to resume blogging with the focus expanded to include other sports. Today I'm watching the final round of the Masters. Tiger Woods just eagled the 7th hole on a crazy 2nd shot, getting him back down to +1 for the day, -7 overall. He's still 5 back of Westwood, but maybe that'll help him get his rhythm back. Whether he pulls it off or not, his performance at this level - after 5 months away from the game - shows that Tiger is going nowhere, and that his chase of Nicklaus' record remains alive and well.
